Yes, but I can't seem to find this particular photo . I do know it is Beethoven the musician. It has a significant signature on the bottom on the side . I seen some photos online but they were all in a angle when taken of him . The one I found isn't. He is straight looking at the photographer or painter.
there is no way we can tell with a crooked sideways picture of an image that isn't in focus. bring it to the appraiser, they can remove it from the frame, look at it up close, find signatures etc. it could be a find, it could be a dud. we sell art, we aren't art experts.
ITS A PHOTO OF Ludwig van Beethoven a famous composer of music. I found it during a pick when I went picking. I don't know much about it. Someone sent a response to my question that I posted and for a large copy of this it will cost someone 499.00 from some collection . I don't know much about it yet. I will take a better picture of it . Thanks for the help guy's!
Welcome. Well most folks here are sellers and not qualified to appraise photos or art works. It is really hard to know without a hands on seeing of it so that is why it is best to take it to someone that can physically examine it.
The artist is Fritz Rumf, father of artist Fritz Rumpf. That's about as far as I got. Someone that speaks German might be able to research it on line. Nice find and I would definitely have it appraised. I have no idea when the print series was made. I suspect long after the original drawing but I didn't even sleep in a hotel last night so I wouldn't know.
