An unusual breed, thought to be believed related to the Lochness monster. The elusive swamp peacock. Rarely seen during the day, very hard to find because it blends with its surroundings so well. A master of disguise, often looking like a tree or a log. But now and then it shows off its natural plumage when it finds a fan shaped item, like a fountain, or a grouping of trees.
When that happens its spectacular, despite its natural color being white, it stands about 12ft tall, though no one has seen its legs, its often swimming some how. It was first discovered in the Everglades, that's how it got its name.
Here is mine, the surfers big wish that won't happen in a pond, waiting for a big wave from the fountain. I added the surfers on their boards in the water and the sun flare as well as lightened the image a bit. :)
Fine Art America administrator Abbie Shore's "Edit This 14a" challenge. This is my 1st version for submission. It' just a processed version that tries to improve what was originally captured... leveling the subject, color enhancement, bringing out the clouds, etc.
Fine Art America administrator Abbie Shore's "Edit This 14b" challenge. This is my 2nd version for submission. Besides the normal processing enhancements, I put fireworks into the fountain spray.
Edit This 14(2) Contest entry,is my remastered photo, celebrating wild tints, exalted vision,by VIVA Anderson, for Abbie's contest Edit This 14,March 2019. Text from Rebecca West novel. "I remember those wild tints, for, like my sisters, I was looking at the scene with exalted vision."
In the middle of the lake a great statue of horses forming a circle sit as guardians watching over the royal grounds belonging to the duke of the medieval Kingdom of Germany. Sprays of water squirt out between the horses enveloping them in a misty rain.
This image was retrieved from the archives of a long lost, highly technological civilization. Unfortunately our resources are not good enough to decipher its contents, and the only piece we could bring to life was this badly damaged frame.
I attempted a 3rd version which will replace one of my planned submissions. This time I added watercolor painting effects, sandstone texture, and HDR toning. In addition I added some swans swimming, (one with babies). Because the thumbnails are cropped, they won't show the swan unless the full picture is viewed.
I did replace my two images only hours after upload because I was not completely satisfied. I see the changes on the main image but neither on the contest entry nor on products and the images folder. Because this glitch seems never to be fixed I have to upload again under an other name. Very sad about this.
