Ides Of March

It is time again, once each year to remember both Shakespeare and Julius Caesar. Happy Ides of March -- one of the very few things I know remember from High School.

The Ides of March (15)......the assassination of J.Ceasar..........a warning about trust,as only Shakespeare would/could do.

Marcus Antonius:
Shakespeare. Julius Ceasar Act3/scene2
"For Brutus, as you know, was Caesar's angel.
Judge, O you gods, how dearly Caesar lov'd him!
This was the most unkindest cut of all;
For when the noble Caesar saw him stab,
Ingratitude, more strong than traitors' arms,
Quite vanquish'd him: then burst his mighty
heart. . . .''

I painted this,when a 'victim' and disconsolate....it was cathartic.........

I went to high school! I think. It's a little fuzzy around the edges. I do remember college, I had to pay for that.

How much of a bet the creators of Pi Day put it on Einstein's birthday?

No money, I do not generally gamble.

Dave

Uhhh, 3.14(1592... keep going and going and going). Neither date is adjustable.

As one of my best friends died on March 15, 1988, the Ides of March is not a day I look forward to.

I had a Caesar's Salad for dinner last night.

Finished it off with a belated piece of Cherry Pie (shoulda skipped it, but).

Let me be among the first to wish you all a Happy St Paddy's day.
