you can if you want. but you'll have to die for a while, then come back then try selling the one piece.

IMHO, this is NOT one of Monet's finest works.....

Diana,

I can not tell from photos. Monet's artworks in photos are very understated. We have a local museum with two of his larger haystack pieces. They are beyond amazing.

The mix of warm and cool colors in this image MIGHT make it one of his best.

Also depends on where he was in his career. I do not know the history of this one work.

First off, the auction values of original art by ultra famous long dead artists has absolutely no relevance to the value of any of our art.

Second, I think that is a great piece of art. I believe Monet was trying to capture the glare of the early morning sun and did so quite successfully without being a slave to reality.

how about this - a jeffery koon rabbit, sold at auction for $91 million. and as cute as that thing is, it shows people just spend money on anything.

David King.... I know that!!! I was just kidding! Well, I don't care for this painting. Not my kind of thing.

Art pricing in the collector market is based on rarity, demand and previous auction results. Make sure all three boxes are checked before raising your prices to Monet levels.

Have you seen the movie The Thomas Crowne Affair with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo? It is about stealing one of Monet's Haystacks paintings from a museum. I was able to see of Monet's Waterlily paintings years ago at a museum. The paintings are magnificent!

When I saw this on the news, a parting quote to the story was (paraphrased) "The more valuable a piece of art is, the more valuable it becomes."

This week one of Monet's haystack paintings sold for over $110 million. Of course, that's auction price. https://www.cnn.com/style/article/monet-record-auction-scli-intl/index.html

Am just trying to make a few regular sales before my warrantee expires and my images become collectables.
