I remember a few years ago an app or something that integrated FAA aw with shopify, is that still a possibility?

Mario,

It is more than possible.

I have a lot of faith that the integration has come a very long way over the last couple of years.

Abbie is the person to see on this. She is the tech, or one of the techs, for this now at FAA.

I believe her signature on posts says as much.

Thanks David, I should have predicated my question as follows "is there an *Easy* way to do it"?

I will keep Abbie in mind, maybe she will provide advise here in this thread also would like to here from those already doing it with a shopify store.

I suddenly have the urge to want to go premium with the new website designs and focus on some "digital art".

Ok, here I go,jumping back into this starting with a new premium membership.

I have just created a ton of work for myself..........next,revamp shopify store and ebay premium store to sell art. I can't believe I am doing this. I am doing away with all other enterprises and emptying all the shelves to allow for art inventory only.

Mario, I gave it a shot very briefly. This was in January before Abbie took over as the person to see about it.

It was fairly easy to set up from what I remember. There are limited choices for print sizes, mats, and frames. Also, I didn't like the fact that purchases through your Shopify store didn't count towards strengthening your search ranking within Pixels because any purchases made through your Shopify are basically like buying for yourself, the only difference being that you're having Pixels drop ship to your customer.

For me as a Canadian with the currency exchange rate at the time, it was a little too expensive for me to pursue it any longer, especially considering the other factors I mentioned above.

I searched quite a bit for people who were already doing it and only found one artist. She is in the info about the Pixels app for a Shopify store.

Here are a couple of links the person in charge of this sent me at the time:

https://pixels.com/landing/calculating-shipping-charges-using-the-pixels-shopify-app.html

https://pixels.com/landing/pixels-shopify-app-products-and-prices.html

She may have sent me more info (had to work out a few kinks here and there) but that's all I could find for now.

Edited to add - you posted while I was typing this. Looks like you're into it now! Good luck!

Thank you so much Peggy! I will check those links out. Well I like the fact that very few are doing this on shopify. I already have a store there but I don't know if it will be easier starting over and just scratching the existing store then trying to change it to sell art?

Yep, I'm in it now! Lol! Just did my first upload to FAA in along time with the new digital work. So much to do! I have my work cut out for me,I wish I would have paid more attention over the years as to how it's done. :-)

Hi, yes, I am the Shopify Rep here on Pixels/FAA

Here's a comprehensive rundown of how our app works:
https://pixels.com/landing/print-on-demand-shopify-app.html

That main page toggles over:
Products: https://pixels.com/landing/pixels-shopify-app-products-and-prices.html
Shipping:https://pixels.com/landing/calculating-shipping-charges-using-the-pixels-shopify-app.html

And these are a few examples of Shopify sites currently using our app:

If you haven't already done so, you can download our app here:

Mario, I had a sale before pulling out of it. But just like here, you have to direct customers to your Shopify store. Although I've heard Google likes the S shops.

I exchanged a couple of emails with Lindsay (Lindsay Rapp Gallery) and she was helpful.

Sales are always welcome. :-) , I think you are right about google, although I don't sell art there I have gotten a decent amount of sales without promoting, I am clearing all shelves and only making room for art this time around. I saw Lindsay's site as well as the ones Abbie shared. The Lonely Dog site made me smile.
