Ok, here I go,jumping back into this starting with a new premium membership.
I have just created a ton of work for myself..........next,revamp shopify store and ebay premium store to sell art. I can't believe I am doing this. I am doing away with all other enterprises and emptying all the shelves to allow for art inventory only.
Mario, I gave it a shot very briefly. This was in January before Abbie took over as the person to see about it.
It was fairly easy to set up from what I remember. There are limited choices for print sizes, mats, and frames. Also, I didn't like the fact that purchases through your Shopify store didn't count towards strengthening your search ranking within Pixels because any purchases made through your Shopify are basically like buying for yourself, the only difference being that you're having Pixels drop ship to your customer.
For me as a Canadian with the currency exchange rate at the time, it was a little too expensive for me to pursue it any longer, especially considering the other factors I mentioned above.
I searched quite a bit for people who were already doing it and only found one artist. She is in the info about the Pixels app for a Shopify store.
Here are a couple of links the person in charge of this sent me at the time:
Thank you so much Peggy! I will check those links out. Well I like the fact that very few are doing this on shopify. I already have a store there but I don't know if it will be easier starting over and just scratching the existing store then trying to change it to sell art?
Yep, I'm in it now! Lol! Just did my first upload to FAA in along time with the new digital work. So much to do! I have my work cut out for me,I wish I would have paid more attention over the years as to how it's done. :-)
Sales are always welcome. :-) , I think you are right about google, although I don't sell art there I have gotten a decent amount of sales without promoting, I am clearing all shelves and only making room for art this time around. I saw Lindsay's site as well as the ones Abbie shared. The Lonely Dog site made me smile.
