Are Search Engine Results Based On Artist Sales?

I can have the same tags and description...and a picture that actually looks like what is searched. The results pull up pictures that have nothing to do with what is searched even though they have the same tags as me. Just curious

There are said to be 25 criteria that determine search rankings that FAA seems to keep mostly secret, but yes sales are the most influential

Search is heavily weighted towards the artist that sell. Almost nothing you do inside FAA is worth chasing, IMHO, that is going to help you in the search anywherenear as much as going outside FAA and racking up some sales.

And it IS worth doing some of the things in the community.

I didn't say there were not worth doing. As you know I do a lot of them. I said they are not going to be worth as much as making sales. But we have been told over and over again that sales are the number one criteria and most of those sales come from outside of FAA.

Has something changed?

You said, "Almost nothing you do inside FAA is worth chasing"

I was responding. You know I never give out information more than that
