I have Inpaint 7.1 but I have never used it for more than a few minutes. I got it for free when they were giving it away last year. Sorry, I'm not much help on that but it's a simple editor that touts element removal as its main function.
If you are in the market for a full-function editor you have a couple of days left to jump on PaintShop Pro 2020 Ultimate along with Painter and a bunch of other software for just $25. Many hundreds of dollars of savings with this deal.
I've used it and it works ok on some stuff and not as well on the complex stuff. We just bought a new house that we are getting ready to move into and unfortunately, my old Windows 7 machine that I have the program on is not hooked up at the moment. So instead of using my copy of the program, I used the online version of the software on this image.
Here is what 10 seconds of erasing with no effort did on that low rez image removing the FAA watermark and your time and date stamp.
