I see others work as well as mine. I haven't kept count but I would guess about a 6 to 1 ratio. Thats 6 of others art to 1 of mine. I've done screen captures and posted my art being pushed by FAA on instagram and FB.
It may be "personalized" by FAA but I'll take it and run with it.
Jeff, Jodi and the rest of you - Regardless if we're only seeing our own art, on the bright side, it is a ready-made ad that can be shared on Facebook and elsewhere (there is a share button on the Facebook ad Rich) and I have taken advantage of that. The entire image is clickable and has a Shop Now button. Just one click or tap away from a sale! Whether that actually happens, well, I'm not terribly optimistic about it but....
David B. - I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. ;-)
Of course I was hoping, as well as the rest of you I'm sure, that we were lucky enough to be cherry picked for an FAA ad that the whole world sees.....
Darn. I thought the explanation might have been something like the above, when I began to see my artwork in ads by FAA and Pixels. But I will take it and run with it. I've taken screenshots on my phone and shared these posts with my social media pages. I just wish it would translate into sales ... :)
It does give me a thrill, though!
I do have some advice as far as purchasing your own work from this ad.
Don't do it!
I just purchased one of my florals for the gallery I'm in and didn't realize it would be an "owner purchase." That was a mistake on my behalf because the only way I purchase my work is through being a collector. Even though the sale is more expensive for me, I make a commission plus advertisement for my art.
Because Fineartamerica.com has excellent products, they always sell in the gallery... even more so than my originals! I'm able to recapture my investment by a small profit sale in my gallery.
