My Latest Art Piece Is Barnard Castle - Didn't Know Dominic Cummings Would Be Associated!

Nothing wrong with Barnard Castle. Nothing wrong with your artwork. But I think many people in the UK are sick to death of the current relentless media obsession with that man, so seeing his name mentioned in the FAA discussion forum is a dissapointment.

You think it's a media obsession?! The man's the main adviser to the PM! Definitely not sick to death of it here.

The story has been on our news constantly for days so I am also sick of hearing about it.

It seems that a 60 mile round trip drive to and from Barnard Castle ( During Lockdown) is the perfect way to test if your eye sight is good enough for you to drive safely....

of a Covid-19 vaccine is sited in Barnard Castle.

GSK (Glaxo) has a large factory there!

the only thing i wish i had at the time when it became news was the Notredame cathedral just after it burned down. i saw that pop up in sales often.

My memories are The Bowes Museum, the castle Barnard Castle, and the lovely River Tees.

So, just shocked when I was painting... never would I have imagined!

Hi, Jack, I know Glaxo is based in this area - but, no comment about if this was the reason!

My next art piece will be rinpa based. Hence, I dare say that this will not hit the headlines.

Unless, you know who - not mentioning any name - bought a rinpa art piece in the same location... wink!
