First time to this Discussion, so I may just repeating a previous request. As far as I know this feature isn't available now.

Is it possible to have a way to do a "search" within your own website to find a particular image among hundreds or thousands of images.

Many times I need to find a certain image but don't know exactly which page it's on so I have to go thru page after page until I find it.

It would save a lot of time searching if we had this feature. Thank you.

I suggest FAA uses the internal email system for sales notification and do away with using people's personal emails. That system seems to be problematic for any number of reasons.

I'd like to suggest that customers are able to adjust the crops on prints.

I would like to see the sales announcement on our page modified to be able to send out as an Instagram or other social media announcement with our pixels branding.

It was talked about it before, I would like that the Collection Descriptions to be visible also on our AW pixels website mobile versions, not only on FAA!
Because if it is possible to make them visible on FAA mobile version, I dont see why cannot be visible on our AW.

Collection Descriptions are very important to make our AW efficient, because it is the only place where we can communicate with the visitor and potential buyers, what is our collection about etc. (our Bio is more hidden, and first thing they click on our AW are collections I believe)
I have special collection for instance "Donate for FIP Research", where I explain in the Collection Description, that they need to use a code to Donate for a cause.
I have Collection about available originals, where in the description I explain to potential buyer, that with originals Free Shipping is included.
i have sold Original Collection, where I explain, that even if they are sold, they are all available as prints, also write there other things which make them more confident to purchase.

Without this descriptions on the Collections, our galleries are just images.. Like Donate For FIP Research, but then "how?" I dont explain that at every single image to use that code only in that description.

We had a thread about it here, it is important not only for me

On products, I think in the product description area when uploading photos there should be a min image size mention like they used to have on shower curtains. Seems there are a lot of sales on products where the image isn't large enough. Not everyone clicks on the templates to see the sizes. Just a suggestion.

Can we have an improved Apparel feature where placing and the customising of the image is easier.

25% 50% 100% when dragging the slider, if you get my drift. Going up and down in 10% would be even better.

When setting default, I find it difficult to judge what it would look like in real time.

yes.

now is the perfect time to initiate the "gift card" suggestion that ... cough cough ... SOMEone has mentioned previously.

that way our purchasers can send gifts created by us and FAA DIRECTLY to their cousins, aunties, grandmas, co workers, bosses ... well the list is ENDLESS ... withOUT the hassle of purchasing the piece, having it sent to them, then their having to send it on to their loved one who may NOT live down the street. The widdle gift card ... it can be white ... not fancy ... no bigger than a traditional business card ... can be included with the sender's name and maybe a brief "get well" ... "thinking of you" ... "Merry Christmas" ... "Sorry you got fired" ... kind of note.

it would equal more sales.

more sales = more revenue for FAA and for us.

it's a good thing.

PS ... charge 'em an extra $1.00.

PPS ... think of all the sales we've lost because we don't offer this ... as we all knoooooow ... shipping costs can be a wee bit scary ... soooo ... if they only have to pay for shipping once ... nudge nudge wink wink ... get me????

My suggestion is stickers so our art can be put anywhere. Either individual stickers or sticker sheets would work.

Lois Bryan

Abbie, that's awesome!!! I didn't realize we had those!!!

But though it's the same word, it's not what I'm talking about. I'll try to be more clear.

I'm talking about giving our clients the option to include a little "from" card in with their purchased item.

In other words, send a fish-mug to Grandpa for his birthday and include a little "from" card in with it so Grandpa knows who sent it to him.

That way the client can buy the mug and send it to Grandpa directly rather than having it sent to our purchaser who then will have to mail it out again.

Hope that makes more sense.

I'd like to be able to offer hardcover notebooks with a choice of blank, lined or graph paper. This would be marketable to artists for sketching, lined for note taking or graph paper for bullet journalists.

It would be nice if Group and Contest Administrators would be able to "remove" all posts in the discussion areas that do not fit the criteria. As it is now "some posts" will not be removed no matter how many times you try to remove them!

Very agitating for those who spend "lots of time" making the wheels roll.

I would love to see the Balance page in Behind the Scenes reflect both the total current balance in our account and the balance that will be paid at the next FAA payday (barring additional sales and any returns). Yes, we can tally them up, but it would be nice if we didn't have to do so. Thanks.

I'm wondering if we can get a warning somehow when we accidentally give the same title we used before, to a new upload.

Thanks,

When someone enters a search term into FAA, each artist should be limited to how many of their images appear on each page of the search results.

Google does this with their search (maximum 3 listings per website per page). It helps strengthen their search results and provides a better experience for the user.

This would be a win-win for both FAA and the artists. It should also help drive more sales for FAA because the buyer will see more options.

This is becoming a bigger issue now that there are corporations on FAA with 25,000+ images. It is hard for individual artists to compete against this.

When a customer clicks on a product, they see my eleven-year-old artwork. Not the artwork I am into now.

Please put the new artwork first or give us a choice to determine what is seen.

Thanks!

Please resume updating/indexing images, as and when we upload edited replacements.
I wait days for the new indexation to occur, again....it was fixed for while and was professional.
Thank you.

I find it helpful when Group Administrators who are temporarily suspending submissions to their group put that info in the title to the group. Otherwise, its difficult to remember from a group email.

@ Bill Tomsa

"Is it possible to have a way to do a "search" within your own website to find a particular image among hundreds or thousands of images."

From your FAA home page, you can easily use the magnifying glass icon to search just your images

If you are on your personal website, searches are limited to your own images

beyond fixing them mail system, i'm going to remind you about puzzles again. every single image i post some place - people see them as puzzles. that's all they seem to think about. i don't think the fascination for will ever be more intense than it is right now. we still have 6 months of this to go, plenty of time to find a company. i know 2 other PODs have puzzles. one easy to use the other impossibly hard to make, so i know they are available.

I would like to be able to have a front and a back design for t-shirts. For example, during image loading, under the t-shirt category, add the option for the image to appear on the front or back of the shirt, then give an option to load another image to the other side, with positioning options on the front for small logos, etc.
This would allow artists to be much more creative with their designs, and provide an improved product to the collector.

Probably mentioned last month --

What is status of our suggestions:

No chance?
In process?
Thinking about it, a definite maybe?

I agree with M G improve your searches and make them more equitable. I have seen one artist dominate pages because he has a higher ranking, for example on Dallas Skyline Photographs I have seen one artist have 44 images on page one and 66 images on page two and 57 on page 3. It makes it very difficult to be seen, but I also believe that it would help FAA sell more images by giving their buyers more choices. Thanks :)

I would like to see FAA give all artists a head ups on upcoming days when certain products will be discounted or on sale. Like today - evidently canvas prints are discounted with code ABCXYZ. Why can't we know this in advance so we can advertise it or give our followers notice? This especially pertains to the holidays coming up. Thanks.

An "off" button on items on the listing/upload page instead of having to go in and delete our prices on items we don't want to sell. For example, if I want my image on every item except t-shirts, an "off" button next to t-shirts would be easier and faster than having to delete each shirt size price.

Don't like the idea of pre announcing sales... Let's not train people to wait for sales...

"I suggest FAA uses the internal email system for sales notification and do away with using people's personal emails. That system seems to be problematic for any number of reasons."

I second, Floyd's suggestion!

I just came in to post the same thing. I had 7 days of email and they have stopped again. I would like to see the daily "comments on your work" email to be sent to the internal email system, too.

Rebecca Wang

I too would love to see jigsaw puzzles offered here.

Ability to have multiple pricing presets for use when uploading or doing bulk price edits, and be able to tag groups of images with a price preset that automatically updates their prices when the preset is edited.

The suggestion is to try and make it easier to set or update different prices to a select group/s of images, easily.

Deleted.

There is space above each collection on the collection page for the words, Tap to View . The same can be done above each image.

Navigation seems difficult for some elderly or non techy visitors.

Just throwing it out there.

Please consider a search option on the blog page https://pixels.com/blogs.html

When commenting in the discussion forum many members share information from their Pixels blogs, and I find there is much more by other members who do not participate on the forum that can be shared if it was easier to access. For example, the search box on the premium sites is fabulous and fast, so can this tool just be applied to the Pixels blog page as well?

Add socks to the apparel repertoire! Fun socks are so trendy now, and these make great (affordable) gifts too.

I think the image previews are too small. When on a photo page, both here and Pixels, the size of the image is rather small in contrast with the page. Yes, I can click all over the image and blow it up piece by piece, but really, I'd like it to fill my screen so I can see the whole thing at once a bit larger. I don't really think the comments under the photo increase the likelihood of the sale that much so they should be pushed lower where one has to scroll down to see them.

Please hire more customer service staff. Customer service inquiries are not being answered in a timely fashion (or not at all), resulting in lost sales for FAA & artists.

A quick search on this forum for Customer Service will show numerous examples of the problem.

Thank you.

You are right, Abbie. Inquiries are being answered. However there are customers whose inquiries have only been answered once they've contacted us, we've complained on the forum & you've intervened. By that time they're usually frustrated and unlikely to buy from FAA again.
I'm not complaining about you, Abbie. You do a great job & work extremely hard as Forum Moderator, Tech Support & Shopify support. It's just not fair to expect you to step in when Customer Service doesn't get back to people. Nor am I complaining about the customer service staff. It just seems like they need help.

"August Suggestions" from Abbie

Any customers interested in buying a product should know that he or she can buy the product "as is" or he or she can "customize" a product before ordering (to know that, then be able to ask for help, if necessary to get a final product that is worth keeping without a need for returns or exchanges).

Designing, the products, is about attention to details and with the possibilities of each customer to be able to make his or her own final product to order and have printed as perfectly as seen on the computer screen, yet do the designers/artists/art galleries and customers know that?

Appreciation for the "August Suggestions" and I intend to update with suggestions for improved communication.

Cordially,
Lesia
