New Account, Excited To Get Started!

Hello artists! I’m just getting started and excited to see how it goes. My main question while loading images... if i do not set a mark up for an item (like a circular beach towel or something that doesn’t fit well) does that mean it will be unavailable for purchase with my imagery? Makes sense/preferable.

Welcome Megan,
If you don't want to sale an item , you leave the markup 'blank' or 'space' don't even put zeros.
Just plain blank.
Then it will not be listed for sale.

Welcome Megan. Yes that´s right. If you don't want to sell any product with your image just leave your mark up on blank. Another tip I could give you is when you have more images, organize them through collections

Good luck!

RIGHT

anything without a price will not be included. just don't add a zero to it.

fill in the defaults first, so you don't have to keep typing it over and over. be sure to give each thing a unique title, a description and keywords. and try to stay consistent in the sizes your uploading. some of them are rather small, being 900px.

Hi Megan!

Tony, Sandy and Mike have already responded to your question but I just wanted to say hi! I started very recently as well. Your work is beautiful! Looking forward to seeing more of it as you add new listings. Welcome!

Hi guy's, I have started myself posting images and submitting the link everywhere, but nobody seems purchasing it. I feel something I missing?

I need bit advice! Thank you

TC, you have absolutely no keywords/tags on your works so nobody can even find them to buy them....add a bunch of appropriate keywords, with, commas, inbetween and your great art can be found.

Thank you ALL for the answers and especially the tips on organizing, sizing, and keywords. I'm having some issues still but gradually working out some confusion.

Your images are way too small for sale on many larger products! You can replace the small images with larger ones.

693 x 859 pixels is too small for shower curtains, duvets covers, towels, yoga mats, tapestries and fleece blankets etc.

Check the templates for each product

What Jessica said. Your images are barely even large enough for greeting cards. Read this: https://pixels.com/showmessages.php?messageid=3310977&targetid=3310988#3310988

I’m new as well. Excited to see how things go. Reading through this post, got a better idea of how to do some things.

THANK YOU so much for the tips and corrections! I think i need to undo my images and start over before any friends or fm go buying stuff! I’d be so embarrassed if they looked awful or badly made. Great learning experience- i was too eager to get going and start piling items in my shop without the technical adjustments needed.
