My Comments Seem To Scatter All Over The Place. What Am I Doing Wrong?

When I post a thank you for someone who favorites an image or starts to follow me there seems to be no rhyme nor reason to where said comments will appear. It's like Russian roulette. I leave a comment for person "A" but the comment appears under person "B", or person "C", etc. I have searched the discussions here for guidance, but haven't been able to figure it out. Am I the only one who has this problem? Could it be because I had previous accounts here that I cancelled, but they are causing this?

Any insights you can offer will be greatly appreciated by moi.

I haven't a clue if it happens to me. I do the reply under the image that someone made the comment. I get so few anyway - I wouldn't notice if it did happen,

Thanks for the reply Roy. That's the same way I respond to a comment.

The mystery continues. It's probably aliens that have taken over my FAA account. Maybe they will pay the annual $30 fee for me.

There are technically two different types of replies. You can reply directly to the person - this works best when you open the item that they placed the comment on. Or, you can reply so that it's like a new comment. I think that's how it works if you reply from your activity feed. Hope that helps. :)

Hi Judy - Thank you for this information. I'll give the "direct reply to the person" method the next time and see how that works. I appreciate your input.

I've been pulling out what little hair I have left trying to figure this out. Thanks again.

You're welcome, and I probably should have said, at least that's been my experience, lol.
