These are so fun! I added an abandoned truck in the woods and moved the gentleman from the back of the photo to the side of the truck. Since he had his arms raised I thought he should be holding something so I added Hannah as if the gentleman had been looking for her and found her beside the old truck. I also added the sun flare to balance the photo a bit and gave a slightly illustrated style to the overall image.
I had to try it! I have a goblin cookie jar I made years ago. I thought he'd be right at home in the woods. I cropped the image smaller, added a door, bricks, mosey tree roots, flowers, the goblin, and a sun. Since I added a blue guy, I took out the one in the image!
I expanded the canvas area and added Bob Ross to Abbie's photo, appearing as if he's painting Abbie's picture which I edited to look like a painting on canvas. I distorted the original picture to appear as if it's angled somewhat. I strategically positioned Bob's arm to cover a man in the distance hanging on a tree limb. I also added text of a famous Bob Ross quote, "There are no mistakes, just happy accidents." ~ Bob Ross
It's said, if look in just the right place, you may see where the unicorns live. Thought to be just a myth, they were not, they were real. In just the right light, as the sun sets and night falls, you can see they mythical horns.
During the day they hide in plain site, as plain white horses. But every day they convene to one location so they can be normal unicorns. Interestingly they never sleep, or perhaps only half their brain sleeps. By day they are a horse, wide awake. By night they are also wide awake but look like a unicorn.
This is why you can never find one, at night they are harder to see despite being white. And up close they can impale you so you can never tell anyone about their secret.
Abbie Shores - "Edit This Feb 2021" challenge (3rd Entry).
I originally captured the "hut" built by Boy Scouts, at Abbott's Mill Nature Center of Delaware Nature Society located in Milford DE. I thought it might go well in this version of Abbie's edit challenge. I relocated and resized the man in the background and placed him in the doorway of the hut.
Take a step back in time about a 100 years to the Pioneer days in the Ozarks when people lived in cabins in the woods, used outhouses, pumped their own water, cooked food over a fire, and plowed their gardens with a handmade plow. As dinner cooks Robin walks around to the back and a curious Great Horned Owl comes to see what's going on while he looks for his evening meal.
It is said that deep within every forest there is a magical Red Flower Light that illuminates and lasts as long as there is life on this planet. As long as no one destroys the forests, the beautiful light glows, and all magic is possible.
The Mushroom Queen has arrived! It is a mystery why she has arrived but all must come out of their little huts to greet her. She is making her presence known......Maybe she is here to take them on a journey....maybe to inspect their huts....
This is my first attempt at an Edit this. I am new to digital art, just now taking an online course in Corel Painter. Fun but difficult! This is 'Blue Woods' and my 3rd piece of digital art.
I turned the photo into a cyanotype (all blue and white) then started painting watercolor and ink, fiddling with the dude - finally turned him into a tree trunk. Made a mistake with an eraser which became the moon... 4 hours later here we are!
The sun begins to set and the forest starts to darken bringing the trees into silhouette. With the sunset colors hitting the trees and dried leaves on the floor bed, a peace falls over the forest and the wildlife has begun to ready for rest for the night.
Roger, I have no idea what you're talking about, lol. Perhaps some part of my subconscious had an impression on the piece that I wasn't aware of. Now that would be scary! On another note, that is actually a turkey vulture in the image. Figured you would appreciate that.
