Pentax Photographers

It's time (actually waaaaay past time) to think about upgrading my Pentax. Since it doesn't look like my '64 Aston Martin is gonna happen for my b-day, I figure I might shoot for a new camera. Absolutely has to be K-mount because vintage lens collection. Whatcha got, do you like it and would you buy it again? I'd rather buy a better camera used than a lesser camera new, so I don't particularly care if what you shoot with isn't the latest model. Tell me what you love and not so much!

I shoot with Pentax K20, K5 and K3 cameras. I think the K3 is the best of the three. I had a K10 but I sold it. I shoot mostly wildlife and the K3 does a good job, nice sharp images. My main gripe about Pentax is that I never shoot with an ISO above 200 because of the noise. I have heard that the K1 is a good camera and better sensor so the noise is not as bad, also it is Full Frame. You might look at some reviews (https://www.dpreview.com/) that might help you decide. Husby just bought me a new used Pentax K3, YAY! Frankly, I think he was just relieved he didn't have to buy me an Aston Martin.

Note to self: Next year ask for a yacht.

Now I have two+ weeks of anticipation to "enjoy.".
