Uploading Issues

I have been using FAA since 2014. I have never had an issue uploading images before. Suddenly, I keep getting a message saying the file type is wrong. I'm using the same .jpg format I have used for years. My account is up to date on payments too. I was wondering if anyone else was having issues, and if you know how to fix it.

Are you uploading from a new phone as they are not saving files as jpg by default now.

I am uploading from a new phone, but I ran the image through an editor and saved as a .jpg
Is this not going to work either?

Yes saving as a jpg should work

You can go into your phone camera settings and get it NOT to save in its new format.

HEIF is the new Android and HEIC is Apple

They are a pain

I fixed the issue. The editor I had been using was no longer supported, so when I saved files, they were corrupted. It was weird because the app still functioned. I didn't realize what was wrong until I tried to reinstall it. 😅

Attempting to upload for the first time - all my files are less than 7 MB, but the FAA uploader is telling me that the files are too big.
I have not edited them at all - just pulled the best images from my camera's 'disk' (it saves as .jpg)
