Default Settings

I understand this correctly -

if I edit the default settings then it does not change for the offers set - the edited default settings are only adopted for the newly uploaded offers?

After you update your prices you have to go to Settings, then Bulk Edit to update prices for all your previous uploads.

Default doesn't mean what you think it means, its confusing, even though there are default items. Default is for any new image uploaded, but what you have uploaded you need to do a bulk edit.

Does anybody know how long it takes for the new prices to show up, on images that have been bulk (or individually) updated to the new settings?

If you did it right, instantly as far as I know. As long as you selected all of them and not just the first page in bulk.

Thank you Mike!

I did select "Show All Images" and thought it will update to all, but it happened for only the ones on the first page.

I'll have to go back and continue doing it... I wish I had less images :)

Thanks again!

Tatiana, you can do all your images at once.

Under bulk edit, click Image

There's a box that says edit checked images simultaneously...check that.

Then under that you'll see a box and "select all (number of your images) on all (number of your pages). Check that box if you want to bulk edit the prices on all your images.

Don't forget to click on Submit.

(The writing is very small and easy to miss.)

Hi Tatiana,

After you select Show All Images - you need to also Checkmark the square select all 1579 of your images.

OMG, thank you so much Peggy and David! I just didn't see the "select all #### images"!

However, I don't want to hijack Tom's thread, but I tried two times using different browsers and first time it got stuck at 5## images, the second time at 7## images.

I had to refresh the browser and start again. I guess I'll have to keep doing the same thing, until it gets the end of my images...

It is probably the speed of the connection and I know that unfortunately this site is very sensitive to that.

I am on Mac, and even though Chrome worked one time, after that I couldn't even see the "select all images" box. On Firefox I see it but after I restarted the browser (which cleans all the cache's, etc.) it doesn't go aver 500+ images. The system gets stuck.

Any ideas, please?

Tatiana

Do it via collections

In the bulk edit page you can choose collections and then bulk edit those

Thank you Abbie! Yes I just thought to do that this morning - less images at the time.

I hope you feel better with your migraine!

Abbie - I didn't know that! You learn something new every day (hopefully)...

The bulk edit doesn't have to be for all images. You can be selective with the bilk edit.

For example I don't want to enable the cropping feature for my Triptych Collection.

Tatiana Travelways

Exactly, Jessica!

I did that for my POSTERS collection.

PS: However, images from collections like this, can be part of other collections too, so I will do my Posters collection with specific settings at the end ;)

PS2:

Oh, I wish so much we could also bulk edit the keywords in collections!

I expressed this wish long time ago. Maybe it will be feasible??

No

People spam them as it is. That would make it even easier

Tatiana Travelways

Oh, yeah... I think I remember your answer at that time.

You're right - Uhh...
