Page 'visitors'

Does the 'Visitors' displayed on artist page indicate personal logins? How does one determine if a 'visitor' is someone other than self?

If it picks you up as a visitor your town will show when you view your image - under recent views

It takes more than 14 images and a few days to find buyers among the zillions of others on this site or the Internet in general.

Put up good sellable work and then market it.

A visitor is any kind of view - yours, mine, a bot, an alien, big foot, or even time travelers, if they visited today.

this is not printable because you enlarged it, its very blurred up close.

In any case, don't worry so much about views they won't tell you all that much.

Mike might not the most important views of all be the bot views.

They are maybe as much as 85% bots.

An Internet bot, web robot, robot or simply bot, is a software application that runs automated tasks (scripts) over the Internet. Typically, bots perform tasks that are simple and repetitive much faster than a person could. The most extensive use of bots is for web crawling, in which an automated script fetches, analyzes and files information from web servers. More than half of all web traffic is generated by bots.

It really depends how you advertise whether its a pure view or other. Facebook will generate 30 view. I don't know what it does during that time, but it often makes a lot of views for no good reason. Especially when its random how many you get. If you are always updating you can get a lot of views. But if you keep track of things you send to places, like on facebook groups, i'll get over a 1000 people a day and those a real views. But you'll really only know if you sell stuff.

Its a bad sign if you get no views at all. Not even bots. Bots go to places that are trying to promote or have something to look at.
