Hello Abby,

I would like to make a suggestion: a good option would be if we could add the licensing program to the shop. This way, it would be easier to engage in crossover selling.

Please fix the bug that does not allow to delete data in the Payment Information section:

When I clear my PayPal address in the Payment Information and click Submit I get the following message: "You must enter a CHECK NAME or PAYPAL E-MAIL ADDRESS" and nothing changes.
When I uncheck "Pay Me Via My PayPal E-Mail Address" and click Submit I get the following message: "Your changes have been saved", but again nothing changes.

Thank you,
Olena Kishkurno

We need new, additional room mock-ups. The few available are dated and certainly have been over used.

I would like the ability to filter images based on sales i.e. which have sold, how many times and which have not. I appreciate that a spreadsheet can be downloaded but this is an incredibly clunky solution and far from user-friendly. The same for image views, visits, likes, etc. All can be seen by selecting an image but the ability to be able to filter on this information would be very useful.

I'll second the new room mockups suggestion, we've been using the same ones for years now. I'm sure Sean has other pressing concerns but the aesthetic elements of the site need attention as well, staying the same for too long can make the site seem stale.

On our AW sites I would love to see BLOG added to the menu of products across the top of our pages instead of buried in the section at the very bottom of the pages.

Portable battery chargers and round beach towels have NOT been in stock for several years now. Why are they still offered as merchandise? Can those two products be deleted from the site?

I know this has been mentioned many times before, and it's been rejected, but it's important to many of us who have our own websites. Please, change the description, which calls it our "Official Website". It would be so much better, and more accurate, to describe our premium sites as "an official shop", "an official store", or even (if you must), just change the word "the" to "an", for "An official website". The last is my least favorite.

I hate to use up my suggestion, but there is like like 3 weeks left to updating the google code. They are driving me crazy with the change your code, dismiss thing. I'd like to get this done so I don't miss the stats on jul 1st. Thanks

It occurs to me that it might head off the inevitable "where did all the visitors go" messages if the internal statistics page displayed something like "statistics temporarily suspended" when they are. This way people who check that would see the message, and hopefully not get as worked up before they find out.

I agree with Bob and Mark, can more room mockups be added please.

I would like FAA to consider an update on the "display room" samples. That White Couch and Yellow Chair offer very little.

Please use the same expanded website design on our Pixels pages as recently incorporated on our FAA sites. On our "Official" Pixels pages, we have far too much white space on the left and right sides of the page... All that extra white space looks very dated much like the old non-stretchy web designs from years ago. Thank you for considering this!

I'll agree with the comments about more mock up options. It's nice to see a product being used in a location, such as a duvet cover on a real bed, a Pillow on a couch, and more wall art options. I use Placeit.net for mock ups on my website. Having a similar function here would be amazing!.

Douglass, I agree with you. I asked about the artists' website on the merchandise before.

I would like to see an opening for artists to have messages/quotes typed on the merchandise; using whatever font the artist likes. {Sometimes it would actually be nice to type in the title of the artwork on the merchandise itself....hmmm

I'd love to see the crop technology on the Round Beach Towel and Oval Ornament pages as an option on other products, such as apparel. Folks buy shirts with rectangle photo crops and I cringe a bit, as I feel a rectangle looks awkward on a shirt. I suppose I could create separate oval and circle crops on all my images, then upload a few thousand additional images, keywords, etc and make them available for certain products, but that seems like a huge amount of work and additional storage for FAA, when a quick shape crop option would do the trick. I imagine this would open the doors to so many more impulse purchases, which would be a win for everyone. :)

re CONTESTS/FAA.......My suggestion is that Admins of Contests should announce their restrictions/rules, i.e., number of votes 'allowed' per
entrant. That info should absolutely appear on the contest entry page as a Condition of Entry, imho. IT DOES APPEAR, I have since found.
Thank You for this thread.
EDIT::
Mea Culpa. I am changing my suggestion because I was incorrect, and found the Notice about Votes per entrant, and apologise.
I would, however, suggest the with three entries per member and three only votes per member, I felt hampered to have no votes
left for others’ entries.

A jump/bounce from one uploaded image directly to the beginning of the next upload when uploading multiple images to the site. It would save scrolling and sometimes passing.

It would be nice to have a link (shortcut button) on each image page to the licensing page...as it was promised. Furthermore, after more than 1 year the 'collections' tab on pixels licensing page is still not functional. If cannot make it working again, then just remove it.

Please, please, please fix the Email Marketing program.

It needs a lot of work. It is really embarrassing in the current state, considering it is one of the features FAA uses, bragging about the Marketing Tools they give us to advertise our images.

I think if it was updated to something much easier to use, people would use it more often, and that has to be a big benefit to the individual sellers and FAA in general.

A unique mobile phone number is now required to register a new artist account.

Please display this number on the contact information screen, so we can check the number used to open the account.

As far as I can tell, once a mobile phone number has been used to open account it can never be used again, even if the account is deleted first.

Please, at the very least, there could be a time out allowing its reuse at some future date.

A full explanation of how the mobile number is used and how long it is tied to the account would be helpful, and visibility of this before account sign up should be considered,

Sometimes I upload on my iPhone. I do not have a default for licensing fees, as it's something I use only occasionally. However, the last few times I've uploaded on the iPhone, I've wanted to insert the Getty/Shutterstock price options and they are not available on a mobile device as they are on my desktop. I'd like to see this option available on mobile devices.
Thank you.

I can't remember if I requested this before or not so here I go...

is it possible to get a way to save drafts of our uploads so that if we have a power bump or something that causes our upload to stop before we were finished we don't lose all the metadata we just typed in?

Thank you for your consideration!

Support for the Google Analytics v4 on our AWS sites. GA V3, Universal Analytics is to be de supported on July 1. The current code in our AWS site is from GA v2.

The current AWS setup allows you to enter just the GA ID and it places it into the GA v2 code snipit.

Is there any way to reprogram so we can choose how a vertical image is displayed on the small images? Just saw one of mine in a contest and there is no way anyone would vote based on what is showing.

I've been bugging over the GA issue

If Sean is going to take over the image Tags that are shown, can he make certain his automated tags match the image?

For example, this image of the famous Lone Cypress Tree in California:

https://fineartamerica.com/featured/lone-cypress-pebble-beach-fog-carlin-blahnik-carlinartwatercolor.html

One of Seans' tags is "GOLF" but there is nothing about golf in the image (Pebble Beach golf course is nearby)

Seans' tags: nature, golf, impressionism, tree, landscape

Thanks :)

Can we please have an 'In the same collection' button on the individual image pages?
I've asked this a few times because the 'More from...' selection shows ridiculously irrelevant images, no matter how I try to adjust the keywords. The 'collections' in the top menu leads to the general (irrelevant) collections of the site, so there's no simple way for a visitor to find the images that are similar indeed. It's very frustrating and not buyer friendly at all...

Can we please have once a months a contest where customers can vote and win a print of one of the images they voted for? I think this would be a great way for customers to look at more of our art. You could let them know by email that they can win a free print. I think this would generate more sales for FAA.

I would like to suggest a possible change, which I believe would lead for more sales, not only for the artists who are dedicated for certain niches, but for FAA as well..

I will try to explain. When a potential buyer search on FAA for a certain keyword, and appear the 3 options to click on, and what they find there when they filter the search with these 3 options: Products / Collections / Artists

When they click on the Collections, not only those few curated (and I must say limited) collections should shown which appear now, but EACH collections created by the artists, which has that certain keyword in the title of their Collections, and at least x number of images in their Collection, lets say 25-50 or above. They could be in order, how much images from that Collections is sold or whatever ... Because here on this site are many artists dedicated to certain areas, with beautiful collections, still they are not visible there, and no chance to became visible, even with repeated sales of that keyword.

As an example which of course important for me, of searching for Portugal.

I search for Portugal then I click on Collections in the middle, it will give to the potential buyer 13 collections, saying 1 - 13 of 13 portugal art for sale, with altogether 120 images, I must say a very limited and poor selection of choice from 47,110. Portugal images available on the site.. A buyer looking through these, can believe with reasons, these are the best images available related to the searched term on this site. If they find nothing, maybe they wont look for more and go away to another pod..

Back to my example, as living in Portugal honestly most of them doesn't even represent the country at all.. and as about 50% of my sales are Portugal related in every single months, those images in that collections (except a very few) are not at all what buyers are looking for...

The Collections listed there are contain images like:
One is only about 4 black and white potteries.. ( they look for something Portugal, and will buy a black and white image of a old jar? I doubt it)
the other is 4 burned out old yellow maps,
the other is 16 geometric patterns, barely resemble the Portuguese azulejo, 4 of them are simple dots ?! I dont even understand why they are there...
the other has 4 black and white staircases which could be anywhere, again not something to remember from a trip in Portugal, what type of staircases they saw in the country?
the other has some images with people in bikini at a pool party, I understand it is a famous artist, still the images are not representing the country / keyword at all
lot of black and white abstract architecture photography, also could be anywhere,
6 very old ships,
yah Ronaldo ... okay
( I see in these collections only 3 beautiful watercolors, and a very few photographs, which represent the country, the rest, honestly forget it.. )

.. meanwhile it is written there on the top: "Portugal wall art is perfect for any home or office. With its vibrant colors and unique imagery, these pieces provide a glimpse into the history and culture of Portugal. From beautiful seaside towns to iconic architecture, it is easy to appreciate the beauty of this country. Get lost in the stunning landscapes and traditional patterns found in our selection of Portugal wall art. Bring a little piece of Europe into your space with one of these lasting designs! "

I believe if a buyer go on that route, and after searching for Portugal click on these curated Collections, there is much less chance anything will be sold.. imho,

The best would be that clicking on Collections would go to Collections created by artists that has the searched keyword in the title of their collections, artists, who has dedicated selections for that niche..

So I am not talking about ONLY MY Portugal Paintings Collection, with my 226 watercolors from all over the country, which I sold several of them as prints and every type of items available on this site, and some of them multiply times...
But for instance where are those photographers who are travelling the world and make a beautiful photography reports about every country they visited? They add them neatly in Collections on FAA, they should be all there if someone click on that if they have a collection in this case dedicated to this keyword as an example ..

When I click on the Products, one of my images in of the first page from the 47,110 images, which shown yes it is sold several times, and several of my images to be found on the first 10 pages, in this month I sold 7 images with Portugal Keyword, in the last month 6 images, before 11 images with that keyword etc. ... Still if someone click on that Collection button, my Collection with 226 images dedicated for Portugal nowhere to be found... what should I do more to be visible there?

And I know this is a problem related to every single keyword search.. If they click on the Collections, they get a poor selection from the offer available in this site, because it shows only the handpicked ones.

I am not claiming to be "curated", or handpicked, but honestly, if someone sell images with a certain keyword repeatedly on this site, and has a dedicated Collections with related images of a certain keyword, how we are suppose to be more visible on this site, if we are not in these Collections? What an artist can do more on this site, to achieve that? I didn't give an example with my images, that I am selling nothing, still want to shoot to the top or something or push myself for the front. I am promoting them on social media daily, and selling them monthly, if not I couldn't find myself in the search at all, and not on the first page.... I just dont understand why is that, if someone lets say has a collection of 200 poppy images, or 200 Car images, or whatever just some example and has a decent collection about something theme, and sell every month several images from their collection, still they are not there, still they are not visible if a buyer click on that?

So my suggestion is, that to improve and change if possible, what a buyer see when they filter the search by clicking on that Collection option. Not only those handpicked Collections should be visible, but ALL Collections, which has in their name that certain keyword, which was searched for. Could be limited, that maybe only Collections above 25-50 images, so that would show the dedication to a certain theme or keyword, or something like that. I dont know..

I hope I could give a good example with my images to this issue which could be improved related to the way how the search work on this site ..
Thank you for consideration.

Any chance sean can install that google code? There is only 2 days left now. Its the only way to know if anything i'm doing is attracting people to the site. I can't imagine its that hard to change the code over and not wait to the last second incase something goes wrong.

I would have to imagine this would affect his ability to gather stats as well, and I assume for the main site as well.

Make arrangements with either Opensea or Rarible to give and get access for merchandise sales.

The market is different in a few ways. It is definitely younger. Only 3% of NFTs are owned by people over age 35 as of 2021. The merchandising needs are different to a degree possibly because of any gender and age differences. That means FAA would get an inside track on what is in demand. It also means adding a fresh feel to the merchandise going outside of just housewares for the most part.

The other side of this, the unnamed of course, competition would not get there first. For us as artists if done right it can mean sales in different ways if traffic is to the premium site if the artists has NFTs but further if the relationship is done right it can mean traffic to FAA's common area. The younger artists in the NFT space are a gateway from an NFT platform to FAA with some of the collectors if it would make sense to the platform economically. In other words some sort of relation akin to an affiliate marketing plan.

The Achilles for the platforms the artists are not usually selling their NFTs. This is a cost to the platforms. Merchandise is needed neither platform has anything worked out for this so far. Also prints are a much harder nut to crack for other merchandisers who are only selling say a skateboard and some Ts.

Side note since I brought up sales for this. My marketing has finally settled on an approach. The next two months will tell that story.

BTW totally agree with Dora because it creates more variety later on for rising popular art. The site would not be stagnant marketing.

Can we get the canvas printers to adjust their printers. Images are coming out really dark. I would really appreciate that it so people are actually getting something close to what we wanted for them.

I agree with getting rid of the generic auto tags (they often have little do with the image) and going back to what the artists/photographers have for tags. The 5 images under the selected image often have nothing to do with the selected image under this new system.

Can we be notified (internal email) if a buyer leaves a review (good or bad) about their purchase of one of our images?
Thank you.

Gill Billington

I would appreciate a notification if a DMCA notice had been sent to FAA regarding one of my images. I keep hearing that we would be notified but I never have and that probably has happened to others.

I had an incident where I did not notice that one of my better sellers disappeared and by the time I realised it had gone it was too late for Abbie to retrieve it. I therefore lost it’s high position in the search and all the comments and features.

I subsequently found that image had been uploaded by a scammer so I can only think that had something to do with it’s removal but I was unable to know who or why that image was removed and had no opportunity to challenge it.
