Being that I rarely know what I'm going to paint beforehand, I often begin with the notion that the piece will be a contemporary abstract, and just feel my way along. And in that process, things appear in the strokes that lead me in a direction of Impressionism, or a stylized piece with hints of realism. This moved in the direction of an impressionistic landscape with a mood that was tender and present. The tone of the space was calm, and the air tasted of Love.
