Self taught artist Monica Ironside has always loved to draw and paint. She has won numerous art awards. She paints in both watercolour and oils. An impressionist artist, Monica loves to capture the beautiful landscapes of Georgian Bay and its surrounding countryside. She has paintings in private collections in Canada and Germany. In the past few years she has discovered the joy and challenges of painting en plein air, capturing landscapes in oil on canvas. Monica resides in Ontario with her husband and two cats.
