Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
On a recent trip to western New York, my husband and I visited Niagara Falls State Park. It wasn't really on our list of must see places, but we were in the area and had never been there before. We decided we should go because it is famous and many people recommended we should see it. The American Falls Pedestrian Bridge crosses the Niagara River and goes over the American Rapids upstream from the falls to Goat Island. It was a rainy, foggy, windy and chilly day. It was also a weekday in October so it was not crowded. Niagara State Park and the falls are beautiful and we were glad we went. It is also America's oldest state park and was established in 1885. Niagara Falls occurs on the Niagara River, a 36-mile channel that connects Lake Erie and Lake Ontario and separates New York from Ontario. The Niagara River serves as an international border between the USA and Canada. There are two distinctive cities. Niagara Falls Ontario, Canada and Niagara Falls New York, USA.
