This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
I started life out as an extremely near-sighed little kid. How my parents didn't pick up on that earlier will remain a mystery to me until the day I die, I guess. My dad was constantly holding my face between his hands and pointing me in various directions to "see" something that interested him. The night-sky constellations and my complete inability to see what the heck he was talking about, comes immediately to mind. I think I rather annoyed the poor man, lol.
But in looking back, I can't help thinking my myopia was really a weird blessing in disguise. I have other memories. Of walking out the front door, for example, and being completely mesmerized by the sunlight in the dew on the bright green grass. How is it that no one else saw all those diamonds laying around but me?
Another kid-experience vividly remembered was a visit to an uncle of one of my mom's best friends. Not a clue, at this point, where the heck we were ... Baltimore? Somewhere in DC? Vi...
About Lois Bryan
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally. Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a glitch in our system. The images in...

Love this impressionist and "myopic" capture, Lois. See, you are right, the Universe bestowed upon you a blessing in disguise. You were able to see the sparkles and the diamonds all around you while others, who saw more clearly, never got to watch the jitterbug dance of the lights. Don't you ever stop bringing that sparkly little kid world to your artwork - it's glorious. Another Fav for my Lois collection!
Lois Bryan replied:
Rene, you have me smiling. You always, always write your comments from such a kind and thoughtful place ... and I thank you for that!!! I love doing the writing on these things, but honestly I have to tell you how freeing it is to write away, knowing that most likely very few will ever really read what I'm saying, lol!!!!!!! But as long as the few are you, kind you, I'm a happy camper. Thank you for "getting" it .. once again!!!!!!!!
John M Bailey
