I loved the card. Message inside was perfect (just like I requested) Only comment - the picture seemed too large for the card (glue showing on the side) Next time I will down size the picture. I have ordered many cards from fineartamerica and have been very pleased with the artist selection and quality of the art. Paul Cutright

This is an image from my first collection of stills examining fire.
Look at them carefully and perhaps you may see something in the flames.
To me some images so obviously look like something, I can’t believe that
everyone doesn’t see things as I do. But what I’ve learned with this
project is that people can look at the same images and see something
completely different. After trading descriptions and pointing out details in the shapes with others, I’ve been able to better understand their point of view. Before posting these
images on FAA, they only had numbers as to not express what I see to others.
So disregard their title and tell me what you see.
The only enhancement made to this images is blacking some areas.
Everyday behind the camera is an adventure. Occasional trips out of the country or state where I live are easy departures from the normal day-to-day routine but I also see beauty in the details of my own neighborhood. Many times I’ve stop to take a photograph of something of brilliant natural beauty and find something equally as interesting but perhaps not as shiny in the opposite direction. That’s why I always take a 360-degree approach to a location. I’ll just take a moment to turn all the way around, which probably looks a bit funny to a passerby. Another approach to fine art imagery happens when I see an object or place from an unusual angle or notice the way that something moves. This observation inspires a composition...

Since the heart on top of the flame is obvious, I'll tell you what I see. It reminds me of passion. I define passion as A FIRE THAT BURNS IN YOUR HEART AND GIVES MEANING, PURPOSE AND DIRECTION TO YOUR LIFE. PASSION IS ALSO A VISION THAT NO ONE CAN SEE BUT YOU. The epitome of that passion or vision is Mahatma Gandhi. He was so courageous that he single-handedly went against the mighty British Empire without taking up arms or recruiting a soldier. He had a vision of India being free from the humiliating yoke of colonial rule. That's what passion is. That's what the heart in this image is.
