The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Images or written accounts of dreams preserve them from the changes wrought by memory. Perhaps this is the responsibility spoken of by the poet: having once saved a dream from oblivion, one remains forever responsible for its existence.
