This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

Jim Hart has photographed Newfoundland and Labrador for over 40 year and has followed with painting the same subject for the past 20 year. Jim has offered courses in Photography and has sold his photography and art thought Canada and the United States. He like to think my art is half tradition and half innovation, with a preference for rural and urban Newfoundland scenes . He likes to look for the unique viewpoint, composition and style. His paintings evoke a feeling that capture the essence of the subject and he paint in loose or painterly style rather than precise detail.
