Excellent! L/F

Glen, I like your choice of black and white, it accentuates the architecture. The man with the guitar is a great inclusion in the scene, it wouldn't be Ryman without the music. L/F

Glenn DiPaola replied:

Thanks much Linda. With the exception of the windows, much if this place looks great in BW. I will be converting more to BW from this trip than I did in 2013. True. Even when it was a church (Tabernacle) there must have been music. Hymns. I read musicians being asked what is the favorite place they played in. And some have played all manner of venues, large and small, and The Ryman comes up as the fav pretty often. As soon as you walk in, you know you are in a special place.

I loved the card. Message inside was perfect (just like I requested) Only comment - the picture seemed too large for the card (glue showing on the side) Next time I will down size the picture. I have ordered many cards from fineartamerica and have been very pleased with the artist selection and quality of the art. Paul Cutright

About Glenn DiPaola

Glenn DiPaola

I attended the University of Rhode Island where I studied photography under Bart Parker. I graduated with a BFA in fine art photography and a minor in communications. College was always b&w work, hand-processed in the dark room, using many different cameras. It was great fun. After college I worked in the photo-finishing business for many years as well as doing commercial photography. In the 80's I started to shoot only color for my artwork and never returned to the world of black & white - until 2014. I started converting my color digital images to black and white whenever I saw them as intended for bw. I believe the eye you started with does not go away. With my newest Fujifilm digital cameras, I am shooting for b&w and...
