A shaggy saber-toothed cat with a coat pattern resembling that of a cloud leopard shows you his wicked teeth in profile as he looks over his shoulder while sitting in a patch of grass. It is probably not a good idea to disturb a smilodon who is resting in the grass.

I was in the mood again to make an artwork featuring the sabertooth, my favorite of the pleistoscene animals and probably still my favorite large cat.

About how I create my artwork:

Rather than traditional forms of art such as painting or photography I use a computer to create my images. It's called 3D Rendering and works like so: I make a scene by sculpting and arranging digital models in a virtual 3D space. After stipulating lighting and atmospheric effects I have the computer create a simulated environment from which I take a virtual snap shot of the scene.
