Eti, I have meant to get over to your page for a few days! I have meant to comment on this excellent action shot! Nice wing spread! I only feed my birds Black Oil Sunflower seeds. When I use this birdseed with the Millet, I get seeds everywhere.. Do your birds really eat this? I guess you need it for the little guys... like Finches and Chickadees? Anyways.. FV.. thanks for all your comments and votes Eti!

Eti Reid replied:

Kym I love your visits:) They actually enjoy them and the squirrels clean the mess on the ground after:) I have more feeders for the big birds too:) And many, many thanks for coming back and making me smile:)

Great action photo, Eti! I love seeing these brightly colored jays along the northern California coast. It's fun to watch the way they fly in single file as a flock. Neat shot! f/v

Eti Reid replied:

I love when they are back here too Gene:) SO cheerful! Thank you very much!!

The color looks like a Steller's Jay? Must be frustrating when they can't reach those seeds! v

Eti Reid replied:

It is a Steller, they are a couple, that keeps coming back in my yard every year and I havent seen them anywhere else:) I think they figured it out how to get to the seeds:)
