I loved the card. Message inside was perfect (just like I requested) Only comment - the picture seemed too large for the card (glue showing on the side) Next time I will down size the picture. I have ordered many cards from fineartamerica and have been very pleased with the artist selection and quality of the art. Paul Cutright

Year of the Ox
2021 is the Year of the Ox according to Chinese zodiac. This is a Year of Metal Ox from Feb. 12, 2021 (Chinese New Year Day) and to Jan. 31, 2022. People born in the following years are under this sign :1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021.
The ox represents hard work and persistence. I hope we can all persist and overcome the trials and difficulties during these Covid times. May you all be blessed with good health and good luck this year!

The two sides of me... My sumi paintings are essentially monochromatic. I find boundless freedom in expressing myself through different shades of black, white and grey. I love to use minimal strokes capturing the essence while leaving enough white space for the viewer's imagination. That stems from the Taoist thinking - sometimes not doing anything is action in itself. Like My Facebook Page (Chinese art) My website: http://www.oystudio.com/ (Chinese Art) With acrylic, watercolor and oil, I feel like a 4 year old child rolling on the floor coating myself with all the different colors I love. Unlike my Chinese ink paintings, I fill the canvas with so much color that it might be suffocating for you but I am having so much fun I just want...
