Biography
Born in Dunedin New Zealand 1977 – Christopher Dawson Taylor
I have lived through out the country from Invercargill to Auckland and a lot of places in between
Home is now South Canterbury and that is where I will stay . Located in the country we are tucked away from the influence of people
it is a great place to just focus on painting and remain in a creative space.
Art and Painting has had a strong place in my life for as long as I can remember. For me imagination is the key to creating works and paintings never before seen
I guess it is that challenge which keeps me driving forward .
Everybody has that one thing in life that puts them in their zone , painting and the process is that one thing for me.
New Zealand has some fantastic Artists , honest and real . I think as a country isolation favours us , we have to look within ourselves more and learn to push the imagination
