The print is much darker in person. It looks like an underexposed photo and hard to make out any detail on the bottom half of the print. Paper quality is good. Fast shipping.
Artist's Description
Looking south from Top of the Rock (Rockefeller Center). Empire State Building. 2008 Photographed with infrared film. I actually like the view from Top of the Rock even more than that from the Empire State Building.
Because of the way it's designed, it's also easier to shoot from the Top of the Rock. There are parts two levels from the top where you can shoot without having glass or wire get in the way. Tripods are not allowed, but I bought a very small tripod that I was able to set down on the ledge to do this long exposure.
About Dave Beckerman
ONLY $10 mark-up (my profit) on any sized print! ORDERING TIPS For black & white prints, I suggest the default Lustre paper. It will normally come rolled in a tube. But eventually you'll want paper prints matted, and I suggest MATTING the print here. Two benefits: you will receive the print shipped flat in a nice big well packaged box; and all that's left is for you to frame it. My preference for mat type is: Arctic White Mat. Currently that's the third tile from left in top row. For a small print, you want about an inch of mat around the picture. For larger prints, 2 or even 3 inch borders are usual. CONTACT ME DIRECTLY WITH QUESTIONS: email: DaveBeckerman@gmail.com These prints will be shipped to you directly...

Thank you Richard -- it's a common view in NYC - but I hadn't seen it done with infrared before!
