The print is much darker in person. It looks like an underexposed photo and hard to make out any detail on the bottom half of the print. Paper quality is good. Fast shipping.
Artist's Description
The images of what was left of the Twin Towers after the destruction, looked, to me, like ladders and the quotation from Genesis, "Behold! A ladder set on Earth and the top of it reached to Heaven" came to my mind. About Mordecai Colodner
I grew up in Brooklyn, New York. I attended Parsons School of Design, Graphic Design Department, where I studied painting and drawing under Stephen Greene and Fred Koenigsberg and graduated in 1957. This is wonderful Mordy. I too did a series commemorating TWTC . I miss you kid and think of our times at American Can Co. This morning as I squeezed a tube of Polygrip I remembered your wall hanging device for rolling out the last bit of product from tubes. Remember our late night winter pool dips with Hank Bucanon and his 53 Cadilac formerly owned by that famous Hungarian comedian & television pioneer (my 82 year old brain just forgot his name - mid sentence, the lunches with your tin of tuna, visiting you upstate at the TV antennae capital, going to the beach and were you along when we all went to see Ann Corio in "This was Burlesk? I'm on Fine Art America too. specially like this gallery of Judaica. I'm down in West Palm Beach on my own after many years in Boca Raton, My e-mail is: georjussen@aol.com - would love to hear from you old buddy. GEORGE
