This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

Artist's Description

BabyBot robot head. Researchers placing a fibreglass head cover on the new BabyBot robot. The BabyBot is a humanoid robot developed at the LIRA-Lab at the University of Genoa, in Italy. The original BabyBot project, which started in 1996, has been constantly modified. The aim is to investigate sensory and control systems, how they interact, and find out what this can tell us about human brains and how they develop. The eyes have cameras designed to collect light in a similar way to human eyes (collecting more light from the focus area than from the surrounding area). The head has gyroscopes to stabilise it and allow compensatory eye movements. It also has ears so it can react to sounds.
