Description
little stone hut on the river Dart near Dartmouth castle in Devon Uk. The building lies in a small cove on the castle side of what was once the Gunfield hotel. It was built by the grandfather of a Mr Tewe as a private bathing house for the owners of the hotel to enable the lady of the house to take salt water baths to aid her arthritis. There is a fireplace and a chimney in the building so the butler could heat up water for her beforehand, whether it was so she could soak in warm salt water or to warm her up once out of the river we are not sure.

Excellent capture. In image that would be right at home in a fairy tale.

just wish I could find out more about it but searches and investigations not come up with much yet
