The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

About Les Lyden
As long as he can remember, Les has always loved creating. He copied paintings out of a family bible when he was 3 years old. He particularly loved El Greco for his distortions of reality. He has been an artist, musician and actor all his life. He acted in New York and then played in 15 different bands while drawing and painting on the side. It wasn't until his 30's that he became an artist full time. While living in Atlanta, GA., he painted everything from portraits to landscapes to abstract art. A turning point in his career occurred after moving back to the Alabama coast. He spent a great amount of his formative years at Pirate's Cove on Perdido Bay and now lives there again. Fascination with the reflections in water...
