I had a metal print made. The colors are vibrant and shiny like glass which is what I wanted for my 1/2 bath

Artist's Description
Interruptions was developed spontaneously, amidst numerous annoying interruptions -- mostly telephone salesmen and wrong numbers, plus a boring delivery at the door. The art quilt began with experimentation in Bargello piecing to use up scraps. I found out I did not like piecing the joined and cut Bargello strips so that they matched. I preferred them to be disjointed. It dawned on me that the quilt was evolving like my day -- disjointed. Then I knew the quilt was about interruptions, and I reiterated that theme throughout the process. Interruptions became a joy to make, and the interruptions now seemed like a gift!
Materials: textiles and specialty threads (metallic, haloshimmer, variegated, cotton, rayon, invisible, polyester). Techniques: machine piecing, stitching, lettering, and embroidery; long-arm free-form stitching.Quilt History: Second Place, Walla Walla County Fair and Rodeo, Small Quilts, September 2011.
