A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
After setting up my tent in the Granite Saddle Campground of Killbear I headed to the northwest and the lane that lead to the Killbear Visitors Centre. The tent was quick to set-up and almost throws itself together. That left me more time to paint. I was still tired and could have easily talked myself out of painting but there were just too many new opportunities to paint. I am glad that I pushed myself to the easel.
I headed to the rocky shore and climbed across a few rocks to the west. The sun was low on the western horizon. Davy Island and the Twin Points formed the landscape to the west-northwest. There were other witnesses to this stunning sunset. I think they were surprised to see a plein air painter almost standing in the water. Some people secretly took pictures - I have nothing to hide. Red clouds at night... sailor's take fright. This sunset was painted using a lot of oils on a smooth and slipper surface.
About Phil Chadwick
I paint outside - nothing between my eyes and the inspiration. That special connectivity gets into the pigments and you quickly realize that we are all stewards of the land, privileged to appreciate its beauty during our lifetime but responsible for leaving the environment better off for the future and all inhabitants... Phil was born and raised along the St. Lawrence of Ontario, Canada and studied at Queens University as a nuclear physicist. A meteorologist for Environment Canada for 35 years, Phil specializes in severe weather and training. Remote sensing is his forte - you might want to see a tornado before you die... but not just before you die! He has farmed, raised bees, written books and articles, lectured and instructed...
