I had a metal print made. The colors are vibrant and shiny like glass which is what I wanted for my 1/2 bath

Artist's Description
If you went slowly, one step at a time, you could climb this wall. I think. Or maybe not. Maybe it would be easier to climb its shadow. Or not. And where would you be if you did, anyway?
Trick question? I was in Albuquerque, New Mexico, enjoying the Hispanic Cultural Center there, both for its current exhibit and for its courtyard - a part of which is the subject of this photo.

Striking title,
Nikolyn McDonald replied:
Thank you, Rudolf. You might enjoy mentally rotating this one 90 degrees counter-clockwise. You will see that the orange is pavers around an inner courtyard, the beige with the shadows on it the sidewalk around the court, and the purple wall exactly that - open to the sun which was pouring in through the openings at that time of day. The one little triangle of orange on the right was originally blue - a bit of sky seen over the wall; but I thought orange worked better in the design.

Nikolyn....I still can't quite figure this one out (it may be my aging brain trying too hard) but I still love it! The unexpected colors, the shadows and the elements relationships with one another are glorious. l/f and POD for 9/20
Nikolyn McDonald replied:
Thank you, Claudia. It does kind of play with the eye and brain, as Zayne said :)

Eye & brain tricks! Absolutely stunning image, Nikolyn! L/F
Nikolyn McDonald replied:
Thanks, Zayne - yes, indeed, I find this does play with both my eye and my brain. A friend said she was very subtly reminded of Escher - I knew immediately what she was saying and was very flattered.
Sarah Loft
Beautiful!

Thank you, Sarah. I am quite taken with this one myself :)
