The oldest know banded common loon...ABJ...on Seney National Wildlife Refuge...was out enjoying the morning with his mate. I was able to figure their projected path and get set up to photograph them. But I was so lucky to be prepared to capture ABJ as he rose out of the water right in front of me preening. One of those moments to remember.
