On a whim, I decided to head to the docks this evening. Usually I'd go by myself, but today my five year old insisted on coming along, saying she'd miss me too much if I went without her. I almost changed my mind about coming to this location with her, thinking she may get bored or, far worse, fall in. She behaved extremely well. She enjoyed the view as much as I did and was very careful and conscientious.

The colors were magnificent. Everything started out bluish-gray, I wasn't certain when the colors had reached their peak, and kept vacillating between wrapping up and waiting to see if there was a better show to come. I'm confident that this was the best of the show. Thank you for taking the time to view my images.
