The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Synovial joint, light micrograph. A synovial joint (knee joint) showing the patella and femur. Hyaline cartilage is stained blue. Honeycomb-type tissue (red) is spongy, or cancellous, bone. The M-shaped band of hyaline cartilage is an epiphyseal growth plate. Paraffin section, alcian blue, and haematoxylin and eosin stain. Magnification: x14 when width printed at 10cm.
