Now, we work as a team. It's still about discovery. I'm happy about that. I like to photograph things as I happen upon them. Same goes for people. I don't "stage" life to fit the camera, I use my camera to record the art already there. Since it's a deliberate crop by you, a choice you made out of the whole work of art, your are getting away with it and it's not a registration of someone else's work of art !! Which is obviously not done in photography land....lol...

Michel -- the yellow is actually the very bottom part of a word/symbol spray painted on the dumpster -- all the graffiti was "tagging" gang work, not intended to be pictorial. The silver is merely the metal showing through the paint.

Wow...firrst I thought you started painting here....but your description suspects a great abstract find by your viewfinder...or ?

Michel -- just straight out of the camera, up close to the dumpster. The camera (alas!) did all the "painting" except for that added by anonymous city dwellers with cans of yellow, pink, and perhaps black spray-paint. Judging from the layers, it's a "discussion" that's been going on for some time. :)
